Training

The TRAC Society offers a combination of virtual, live and asynchronous training options to support routine tasks within Polaris, Polaris LEAP, Polaris Reports and Polaris SimplyReports.

Live events are promoted through the TRAC partner Regional Library System Headquarters. Step by step documents are linked to below and can be used for staff training and refresher purposes.

For more information about the topics below, or to suggest additional training topics, please contact your Regional Library System Headquarters.

Polaris is the software (also known as an ILS, or Integrated Library System) all TRAC libraries use. Every item in TRAC is catalogued in Polaris. Libraries use Polaris to lend out items and keep track of patrons. Patrons search the shared collection using TRACpac online. All libraries within TRAC share the Polaris software.

For access to Polaris, please contact your Regional Library Headquarters.
